Hey, I'm going to be getting a tablet soon and I was wondering what size would be a good one to get. Would a really small one be really hard to draw on?
well, i've had a 5"x4" tablet for the past five years, and it's not too bad, but i abuse zoom like no other. i find that my larger tablet has more breathing room, but the smaller one is (obviously) more space-saving... i think i can do pretty much the same quality of work with either. C:
(i've also tried a 12"x9" tablet, which was pretty awesome, but unnecessarily large for me. XD)
i'll be getting a laptop for college soon and i found out that, if i go small, i can add in a tiny bamboo tablet into the budget. I was just wondering if going so small was really worth it. from what i've heard so far, it seems that it is.
i recommend the bamboo fun, if you're gonna get that. i tried it out at school, it's pretty good. the drawing surface itself feels like... well. not really paper but the friction is similar. and yes, the small is worth it. : D (if not, the bamboo fun also has a medium size)
the only drawback with the bamboo, compared to the graphire that it replaced, is that graphire has a slot along the top edge of the tablet to clip your pen into, and bamboo doesn't.
